Welcome to the Open Carbon Protocol
The Open Carbon Protocol (OCP) is a platform for new carbon crediting methodologies and projects modeled after the peer review process.
It provides the tools and incentives for speed, trust, and alignment between project developers, MRVs and dMRVs, registries, buyers, and other stakeholders in the VCM.
The OCP allows stakeholders to add layers of trust to their proposed methodologies and projects.
This Handbook is currently open for public commentary. Any comments or concerns on the guidance provided in this Handbook should be sent to admin@oneshot.earth.
Version 1.1 published May 2024
See how the OCP addresses the Core Carbon Principles below.
